Rafting on the Martha Brae River offers a relaxing and scenic experience on handcrafted bamboo rafts. You will begin your experience at the Rafter’s Village in Falmouth (Trelawny). From there you will enjoy a leisurely float down the river guided by experienced captains. The ride, typically lasts about an hour and is a chance to connect with nature, learn about the local culture, and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Jamaican countryside. 🇯🇲
The sun was just warm enough for us to enjoy this river rafting tour, and Norris took his guests down to see what the story behind the river was all about.
Walking down the entrance for about 20-minutes, we got down to the water’s edge where raftsmen were waiting for another batch of tourists. Our guests got to be on one raft alongside several others as they traveled down the river.
Island Turf Tours took various photos along the course as everyone was venturing down. This was just another cool day, for a really cool tour. If you have not yet had the chance to get this experience, well, what are you waiting for?
